Elephant Camp Experience - 2 weeks

What will you be doing, who will you meet and where will you stay?

Get up close and personal with Thailand.

The Elephant Camp Experience is a ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY to live and help elephants in Chiang Mai. The project looks and feels unique and the groups allowed into the project are only small so that we can really give you a one off experience. A Mahout is the person who cares for an elephant and it's their job to feed, clean and look after their elephant, which can often live for more than 80 years. You will be working alongside a Mahout at all times.

Working with the Mahouts and the elephants will be something you will never forget and you will really get up close and personal with these amazing mammals as you shower, feed them and give them a mud bath. This really is unlike any elephant experience you will find ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

The cost of your trip really MAKES A DIFFERENCE to the local economy as a LARGE PERCENTAGE of the price of your trip goes back to the elephant camp.

It’s easier then you think to make a difference.

Highlights of the project

The project in Chiang Mai is different because it's intimate and the groups are small. This gives you a chance to get to know the local staff and really understand the culture and the language. You will get to work closely with the elephants and by the end of your stay you will have a greater understanding of these incredible mammals. We promise you that getting up close and personal with these animals will be an unforgettable experience.
